We are a small team of product creators who thrive outdoors
Paleblue HQ is situated in Park City, Utah. Where we are surrounded and inspired by amazing aspen grove covered mountains and cold snow-fed rivers. We are driven in our work and by our exploration of these wild places. We want to help protect and conserve the wild, the land, the water.
In the beginning, we realized that there was a major problem to be solved. The household battery category was (and is) mostly single-use batteries. We knew there had to be a better way, for people and for the planet.
Advances in technology over the past 20 years have enabled us to develop a battery that meets the needs of users without creating unnecessary waste.
Built for adventure, perfect for home
We took the charger off the wall and put it into the battery. This offers better performance, reliability, convenience, and ease of use.
The ‘Battery Management System’ handles charging and safety, allowing us to offer industry leading fast charge times.
Millions of Paleblue batteries are being used all over the globe. From wild nature and ocean adventures, to film sets, concert venues and homes, they’re displacing the need for hundreds of millions of disposable batteries.
Why ‘Paleblue’?
In 1990, the Voyager 1 space Probe took a photo toward Earth from 3.7 billion miles away in which Earth can be seen as nothing more than one small blue pixel. This image helped people realize the finiteness of our world and our resources. We believe that we should be using these resources more wisely and see the recent advancements in battery technology as a way to help us avoid the need to use or dispose of so many batteries.
Impact & Partners
Beyond the impact of our products, we seek to affect change by partnering with organizations such as 1% for the Planet, Protect Our Winters and others.
These partnerships are allowing us to extend the impact of our business beyond just batteries. We love doing river cleanups, plant trees with our partners and contribute to the funding needs that fuel their missions.
We continually look for ways to stretch our impact beyond just working to eliminate single-use products.
